I think we have some confusion here probably I don’t understand the total situation The Sata won’t have jumpers as a rule except to change it to Sata I or Sata II I, unfortunately, am not extremely knowledgeable when it comes to BIOS and I really don’t know what to set there.

One other question, what kind of CDRom drive do you have on there and where is it hooked up? Hmm okay, it might be a few days before I can get my HD back with my jumpers, although perhaps I can pick some up tomorrow. Be sure to check if the Hard Drive Priority is still set with the SATA drive first in the bios setup menu, because some times when you add an IDE drive, the motherboard will try to default to that as the main drive
